Introduction
Confetti Magic’s Super Shooter Confetti Cannons are a handheld device, designed to safely launch a shot of confetti or streamers at parties, stage shows and events. They are tested to be safe to use when operated as intended by a responsible adult. They are not a toy and should only be used as directed in these instructions. Not suitable for children.
They comprise a cardboard tube with a pressurised nitrogen cylinder in the bottom and confetti or streamers in the top. A security tape prevents unintentional operation.
They are available in 3 sizes; 30cm, 50cm and 80cm.
Instructions
1/ Remove the safety tape between the top and bottom sections of the cannon.
2/ Pierce the foil or paper on top of the cannon.
3/ Hold the top section of the cannon in one hand and the bottom section in the other hand.
4/ Ensure that you have the cannon orientated correctly with the top pointing away from you.
5/ Position yourself so you have a safety distance of at least 2 metres around you to other people.
6/ Aim the cannon at an angle, up and over the area you wish to cover.
7/ Never point the cannon directly at people or animals. Ensure you have enough space to surfaces and objects to accommodate the full effect range as detailed below.

2/ Do not use the cannon in temperatures less than -10°C or more than 45°C.
3/ The unit will create a pop when fired. This has been measured at 99.3dB at 1 metre (less than a balloon popping). NIOSH recommends less than 15 minutes of exposure per day at a level of 100db. Do not expose yourself to sustained use of the cannons. If you or anyone around you experiences tinnitus (ringing in the ears), stop using the cannons immediately.
4/ Under no circumstances use the cannon near high voltage power lines. This may result in electrocution.
5/ Although the confetti and streamers are considered colourfast, staining may occur with prolonged exposure to water or solvents, e.g. alcohol, when confetti and streamers are left on a porous surfaces like wood or stone. If in doubt, clear up quickly after firing.
6/ Handle the cannon with care. Do not subject to shocks or drops.
7/ Confetti cannons are not suitable for transport by air.
